Sharing on what is St George’s Day in the
Western (Catholic) stream of the Church (transferred from 23 April this year as
it cannot fall in either Holy Week, the week leading up to Easter, or the Octave
of Easter, the week flowing from Easter) though not in the Eastern (Orthodox)
stream (who keep the Julian calendar, and for whom 23 April corresponds with 6
May in the Gregorian calendar).
