As a vicar, I am offered pastoral supervision, effectively space to process, on a regular basis, some of the trauma we are exposed to and sometimes carry on others’ behalf, in our vocation.

I always walk through a small wood to get there, which is as much part of the healing process as the conversation I am about to have.
