Freedom

I’m supposed to be writing an essay on God’s freedom. But I don’t believe that God is free. How can the Lover be free as long as their Beloved is captive? God is the source, the means, and the guarantee of the Beloved’s longed-for freedom. Then, and only then, will God be free; then, and only then, will God’s freedom be worth having.

Now all I have to do is pad that out to 3,000 words...

Hmmmm - food for thought - am sure you have now well and truly padded this out into 3,000 words but you know Andrew I'm not sure I agree with you here (perish the thought that I should disagree with my Theological Reflection Tutor;-) I'm not going to go into detail as i usually try to put comments on these things and fail miserably so I wont waste my time - but would love to chat through this with you some time - i will tell you that when i see you cos I doubt you will get this post!
    Love to all

Hooray - I have finally managed to get a comment on a blog - there is a God after all!! However I am now running out of time and it is quite intimidating putting stuff like this on a blog for the first time so I will continue to wait until I see you!!
    Much love
    Diane
