Kester Brewin’s The Complex Christ blog is a great mix of serious thinking and light-hearted moments – among which was once his thoughts on pognophilia, or, growing beards for the love of Jesus

…I was reminded of this today, having taken Susannah and Noah out for hot chocolates. Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not stop them.” In amendment to Kester’s typology, I present the children’s chocolate beard…

  1. make the most of these momants they soon pass- and life becomes complicated

  2. Sally - becomes complicated? Don't you have five children? I can't imagine a stage when that hasn't been complicated!

I always said I'd like to have five, but Jo says number three - due date two days time, though the first two were both a fortnight late - is definitely the last...

  3. I've always thought my kids look best when their filthy from hard play...this afternoon they arrived home from a night backpacking with Daddy up in Rocky Mountain National Park...they looked glorious!...then I had them bathe.
